Olive wood is a beautiful, living material — each piece is full of natural character, with grain patterns as unique as a fingerprint. With simple care, your board, bowl, or utensil will last for many years and grow even more beautiful with time.
Daily Care
- Hand wash only. Never place olive wood in the dishwasher or leave it soaking in water.
- Wash with warm water and mild detergent.
- Dry immediately with a soft cloth.
Nourish the Wood
Like skin, olive wood needs occasional moisture to prevent drying or cracking.
We recommend conditioning your piece every few months (or when it looks dull) with a food-safe mineral oil or natural beeswax balm.
